Barbados - Saint Lucia

6th of September Barbados page 1 Our flight from Manchester to Barbados
7th of September   We arrive in Barbados
    We first visit Colin's parents
  Barbados page 2 And then we take a walk to the beach in Fitt's Village
8th of September   We quick stop at Milly's place and go then to the city
    We take a break in Chefette for an icecream
9th of September   We visit Colin's parents
    And later on we go to Paynes Bay beach
10th of September   We visit Folkstone Beach
11th of September   On Fittt's Village beach in the morning
  Barbados page 3 .... and on Folkstone beach in the afternoon
12th of September   We go to Bridgetown
    We visit the fishmarket of Bridgetown and buy some flying fish for Colin's mother
  Barbados page 4 On the countryside with Andrew and Sonia Bannister
    We take a drink in Speightstown
13th of September   The garden around the house in Fitts Village

14th of September   We are on the way to the Animal Flower Cave
    It rains like hell

    In the evening we visit Sonia and Andrew to organise our trip to Saint Lucia
15th of September   We visit the harbor of  Bridgetown
16th of September   We are in Paynes Bay Beach
17th of September   We are in Folkstone Beach
18th of September   Paynes Bay Beach and our self made surface marker buoy
    In the evening Colin's Mama cooks dinner for us
    ....and Colin tries fishing at night
19th of September Barbados page 6 On the way to Bridgetown
    Paynes Bay beach in the evening
    We visit uncle Johnny 
20th of September   We are invited with uncle Johnny for lunch from aunt Milly and Bertram 
    .... and later on we go to Paynes Bay beach
21st of September   We are in Folkstone Beach Marine Reserve
22nd of September   We meet Muriel in the city and have lunch together
    Then we spend the afternoon on the beach near the house in Fitts village
23rd of September   Paynes Bay Beach
    Linden brings us two Coconut palmtree we can plant

Trip to Saint Lucia
24th of September Saint Lucia page 1 Early in the morning.....
    On the airport in Bridgetown
    We arrive in Saint Lucia
    First we go shopping to have a good breakfast....
  Saint Lucia page 2 We visit Pauline....
    First we go to the hotel......
    ......and then Sheffield gives us the first impressions of Castries and surroundings
    We visit the harbor of Castries
    Then we visit Castries and have lunch in Dominos Pizza
    Houses around Castries "where the people live" like Sheffield liked to say....
    We have dinner in the hotel
25th of September Saint Lucia page 3 Our day trip around Saint Lucia with Sheffield
    We arrive in Anse La Raye
    We visit a Cassava bakery
    We arrive in Canaries and buy some local bread
    We drive through some rain forrest
    The famous two Piton's

    We visit the sulfur springs of Saint Lucia
    The Cacao Plant
    On the way back we have a fresh Coconut Drink
  Saint Lucia page 5 We arrive in Vieux Fort and have lunch on the beach

    On the way back to Castries
    The Sound of the Caribbean nights is produced from that little frog
    We are having diner (Conk sea shell) on Rodney Bay
    ....and we finally go to a very funny place....
26th of September Saint Lucia page 6 We have a wonderful breakfast prepared from Sonia
    We visit the market place in Castries
    We are awaiting Rouen to pick us up......
    Rouen brings us to the Vigie lighthouse
    We are having dinner in Dennery fishing port with Pauline and Rouen
27th of September Saint Lucia page 7 We start the day with a good breakfast from Sonia
    We are invited for a wonderful lunch from Pauline and family
    ...and we are having a very special dessert!
    We go for a swim to the Windjammer Landing Beach Resort with Pauline and family
    We are awaiting our flight back to Barbados
Back in Barbados
28th of September Barbados page 7 Grenadine-Starfruits-Guave-Soursoup
    We visit Nola and her sister Ruby and husband
    Then we visit the fishmarket of Bridgetown
    ....and we bring the fishes to Colin's parents
30th of September   We are on the way to Rockley Beach 
    We are having dinner with Colin's parents
    And then we help to empty the room for a new floor
1st of October   We go to the Folkstone Beach for snorkeling
    And Colin gets a brochure for Hurricane awareness from the Police station in Holetown
    We have a look on the new floor at Colin's parents home
    In the evening we visit Colin's sister Joan and family
2nd of October   Our breakfast
    We help to arrange the furniture back
    Sunset on Paynes Bay Beach
    This little frog is making that typical Carribbean night music
3rd of October Barbados page 8 Our breakfast
    Wynsome and Harriet are working with the schoolkids
    We pick up Colin's parents to go on a trip to the East Coast
    The car had some problems to get up the hill
3rd of October   Folkstone Beach
    There is a green monkey in the trees
4th of October   We visit aunt Milly and Bertram
    We have lunch with Colin's parents and with Shelly-Ann and Andrew
4th of October   On the way to the airport to go back home, we visit Andrew and Sonia
    Sonia's garden
    We arrive on the Grantley Adam's airport
5th of October   Our flight to Manchester
